Fan of the Year 2004
We ran a competition at the end of 2004 and got the fans to select their own Fan of the Year. The winner has to be a big fan, involved in the message board and encouraging of other members.
The winner Megu has sent in a short note and a photo. I haven't changed any of the formatting cause Megu has an individual English style but I'm not sure how the Japanese characters will appear...

Thank you very much for FOTY! o(^ ^=) And T-shirt, Cap and
poster!! Webby, Mum! T-shirt is just fit me! Thank you for your

Well, My name is "Megumi". On the board, my nickname is "Megu"!
o(^ ^=) I come from Tokyo, Japan! o(^-^)o
In Japan, rugby is not popular than baseball and soccer.. I
couldn't talk about rugby around me.. So, I was so
sad... (T-T) One day, I found out this website!(O_O)y It was
hard for me to write in English because I'm not good at
English. But I can keep logging in the board until now because
everyone on this board is very kindness!o(*^-^*) I could study
English and I could have many special friends! I'm soooo happy!
o(^ ^=) I want to say thanks for Webby and everyone's kinddness
from the bottom of my heart!
Oh! Sorry!(O_O)y I want to say thank you for Mr.Howlett,
too!(O_O)y I love your play!o(^ ^=) This year, I could go to
watch the game between Blues and Highlanders on May. at last!
And I could watch your cool plays amd tries! Especially, I was
very excited that you scored a try after running from end to
end of field!! o(*^-^*)o I was deeply moved by your play!
o(*^-^*)o But recentlly, I couldn't watch your play because all
of the AB's game in Europe was not broardcast in Japan.. So, I
felt that AB and you are a little far from me... I'm a little
sad.. (T-T) I hope to watch your play soon! o(^ ^=)
Finally, many disaster and strife happened this year.. So, I
hope that May 2005 year be filled with peace, health and
happiness! And wishing Mr.Howlett, Webby and everyone all good
things in the year ahead..(- -) For many special person on new
