Applications need to be made by teachers or coaches on behalf of the candidate, team or school. Applications cannot be made by the candidate or members of the candidate’s family. The applicant needs to be willing to take responsibility for the duration of the sponsorship period and complete all required information and accountability.
How to help
We have 3 main ways that individuals, community groups and businesses can assist the Outreach Foundation.

Financial Donations
The Doug Howlett Outreach Foundation is a registered Charitable Trust that relies purely on donations for its income. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the Foundation, however big or however small, please contact the Foundation on the details below.
Donations of Time
The Foundation encourages volunteers who can make donations of their time and expertise. Any assistance would be gratefully received from athletes, coaches, sports managers, educators, trainers, physios or anyone else involved in the sports industry for the Intermediate and Senior Scholarship programmes. If you would like to donate your time and expertise in any capacity, please contact the Foundation on the details below.
Donations of Sports Equipment
The Foundation would be love to receive any donations of new or nearly new sports equipment that could be utilized by Primary Schools or that could benefit teams or individuals as part of the Intermediate or Senior programmes. All equipment will be assessed for its suitability and safety. If you would like to donate sports equipment to the Foundation, please contact the Foundation on the details below.
